It's a bit expensive for a burger and fries but definitely better quality than A&W or McDonalds just next door. ”

“ Everytime I come here, it's always the best Vera burger. Years ago I worked at the Kitsalano location and never ate their again if I wasn't making the burger. I come to this location a few months back to see if they can do it they way I like, and they do it better, if not the same. I will drive from the Fraser Valley sometimes just to come to this location as other locations can get sloppy with the build of the burger. This location balances sauces, ingredients and make it into a perfect texture. Would recommend this location over all unless you're looking for a taco with your burger, WORTH THE ! ”
“ Great revamp by new ownership! Prior reviews not applicable! Have lived in the area for 23 years and seen ownership change a few times, with prior owners ruining this location's reputation. New owners are extremely friendly, wait times shorter, and food much better. Finally makes sense to charge a premium compared to other related spots. Hopefully their work does not go unseen, and this location is able to thrive. Will be back! ”

“ I've been coming here monthly for years, and weekly more recently. This is the best burger at UBC. The other fast food burgers in the area make you regret eating them with stomach aches or an overall sub-par feeling. Vera's is real food, and you can tell. Even after all these years it's still a meal I look forward to and enjoy every time. ”
